North Korea gets bold & Secret Service Scandal Update

According to the LA Times, North Korean officials threatened to retaliate if the United States didn't stick with the plan to send 240,000 metric tons of food, to the impoverished Asian nation. So here's what happened, since North Korea went ahead with a rocket launch last week, the Obama administration decided to scrap a Feb. 29th agreement to deliver the food. Now One of the provisions of the prior arrangement clearly stated that North Korea halt its nuclear program. The United Nations condemned the rocket launch, which failed, and called on world leaders to increase sanctions against the Communist regime.

Well in other news I've got an update on the Secret Service Scandal........The White House is defending the Secret Service and its director, surrounding the embarrassing investigation into whether several agents brought prostitutes back to their hotel in Colombia ahead of the Presidents visit. Now everything was sparked by a Colombian prostitute who got angry when two agents refused to pay her requested $40-$60 fee and locked herself in there hotel room.
Eleven Secret Service members have been implicated in the investigation, which began last Thursday and according to CNN, A leading senator said she had been told as many as 21 women had been involved. They also are considering hearings into the incident which
Sen. Joseph Lieberman said if found guilty, those involved in the Colombia scandal could be "severly punished."

Lindsey Graham said on Sunday that the issue is “probably the centerpiece of the debate in the fall—the proper role of government.” The White House says people are already benefiting from the plan.
