 $50K reward offered in murder of youth pastor

A reward is being offered for information leading to the person who shot and killed a Venice youth pastor. Oscar Duncan, 23, dedicated his life to counseling kids to avoid trouble. Yet Monday night, trouble found him. He was shot and killed after exchanging words with some men in a car on Santa Clara Avenue in front of his mother's home. Police said they are looking for as many as four suspects.

 

"I'm pleading with the community because we do know that someone in the community knows who did this. So please, please step forward. You can do it in a way where you don't have to give your name, but please step forward so that we can at least bring closure," said the Rev. Michael Fisher with the Greater Zion Family Church.
