Back here at home, campus police pepper sprayed dozens of students at Santa Monica College right outside a board of trustees meeting. According to CBS, roughly 100 students began chanting "Shame on you" at the board members who want to implement new course program, that would begin this summer. The students were not allowed into the overflowing meeting room, so they started a demonstration against the two tiers of tuition. The board was forced to end meeting when paramedics arrived to treat over 30 people. What makes matters worse is that the multimedia editor for the campus newspaper videotaped the entire incident which shows numerous students running away historically crying and screaming.
