Authorities are also reporting a spike in burglaries in Burbank and La Canada-Flintridge.
A joint task force of Los Angeles and Glendale police was formed last month to bust the knock-knock burglars. So far, 18 suspected burglars -- primarily from inner-city gangs, according to police -- have been arrested.Among those arrested are two men accused of breaking into a home in the 2300 block of Aetna Street in Woodland Hills on Tuesday

Authorities say the gunman forced his way into a home near 99th and Main streets Jan. 28 and opened fire on a 23-year-old man walking down the stairs. The suspect then dragged the man outside and shot him several times, once in the head.
