John Edwards Officially in the Clear and Sandusky Trial Wrapping Up Early

Federal prosecutors have dropped all charges against John Edwards, triggering criticism that the year-long prosecution of the former presidential candidate was a waste of time and taxpayer money. After a six-week trial, jurors acquitted Edwards on one count of accepting illegal campaign contributions. Edwards is accused of used about $1 million dollars to hide his pregnant mistress. The jurors were deadlocked on five other felony counts. so the judge then declared a mistrial. Source: Associated Press

Just Days into the Jerry Sandusky child molestation trial, the Prosecutions case could be wrapping up as early as tomorrow. According to the Judge "Things are moving along quicker than anticipated, as The jury continues to hear graphic testimonies from accusers who alleged that they were sexually abused more than a decade ago at the hands of the former Penn State assistant coach. Sandusky, faces 52 criminal counts related to the alleged assaults of 10 boys over a 15-year period. Source: Huffington Post
