2 Dead, 1 Detained in Westchester Apartment Shooting

 Two people have now died and one person is in custody in connection with a shooting that followed a burglary at an apartment complex in Westchester, police said. It all happened around 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Alessio Apartments in the 5700 block of West Centinela Boulevard. According to police, they may both be suspects in the case, along with a third person who was injured.That third person was detained by police for questioning.Police are still looking for a fourth person who may be a victim and  may be injured.

"We're trying to determine everybody's role right now, and it's just very important that we find this person that was likely injured in the gunfire,"  LAPD Lt. John Ratke said. Neighbor Craig Fritz, who lives one floor below, told KTLA that the whole thing may be linked to drugs.
